WELCOME TO HIGHLANDER STORY FINDERS
Have you read a story you want to read again but you can't for the life of you remember the title? Or the Author? You've search but you can't find the story?

Perhaps you only remember snippets of a story and you want to find it again...then this could be the place for you. Here you can give what information you have and ask everyone to help you find it. All genres and pairings are welcome. We don't guarantee your inquiry will be answered but hopefully there is someone who can help point you in the right direction. Together we could make this work.

NOTE: You are also allowed to request recommendations (i.e. death!fics, episode related, AU's, future fics, etc...)

POSTING GUIDELINES
As with any community there are some posting guidelines, rules if you may. To start off with all post must be accepted by a moderator which is mainly only to make sure that the basic guidelines are followed which are as follows:

1) When requesting fics to read, please specify what it is that you want. Naturally, the more specific that you are, the better.

2) Highlander related inquiries only please. However, crossovers are allowed.

3) Any specific story details that could spoil the ending must be place behind a cut.

4) Use LJ-cuts for any explicit content and spoilers.

5) Before submitting your post, make sure you've searched at least the last couple of months back in the community.
(this applies once the community is up in full swing)

FORMATING RULES
1) Use the subject line to show what you are looking for.
2) Use capital letters where they should be. Like first word of the sentence, names, places, titles and so on.
3) Use apostrophes. They show possession and are necessary for contractions (Duncan's sword, couldn't).
4) Use punctuation - periods, commas, semicolons, whatever but use them.

IMPORTANT: WHAT TO DO ONCE YOU'VE FOUND YOUR FIC.

There are a few things to keep in mind once you've found your fics, and those are:
1) Don't strike or delete your post after you've found what you were looking for. Keep in mind that what you're searching for might be interesting to other community members and 'striked' post are hard to read.

2) Once you have found what you're looking for, edit your posts with a link or a note like "ETA: Found!" Something that is clear to see.
